El Can Bacán is a Peruvian pet shop founded by two lifelong friends with a shared love of dogs and a playful sense of humor.

Ahead of the opening of their flagship store in Lima, the brand required a cohesive visual identity that could capture its vibrant, friendly personality. The new branding system, featuring hand-drawn pet illustrations, was designed to infuse every touchpoint with color, joy, and approachability. It reflects the warmth of local community life while celebrating the easygoing charm at the heart of the brand.

Following the success of the initial collaboration, I was brought on to art-direct the store’s opening activations and contribute creative consulting for the interior design, ensuring visual consistency across both physical and digital spaces. The result is a bold and characterful identity that embodies the liveliness of Lima’s neighborhoods and the spirit of companionship that defines El Can Bacán.
